I just updated the necklaces on my site. I was busy getting ready for my first trunk show last month, and have been making things like crazy for the upcoming Denver Ballpark Market this past week, so finally had time this evening to add some of my latest designs to my website!

I created a charm using sheet copper tonight, and hope to create more within the next week. So much fun using my letter stamps to add my favorite words to the charms! If anyone has any favorite words or short sayings, leave a comment- I'd love to hear from you.

My ever-sweet boyfriend took me to the large chain home improvement store last night- admittedly probably only to get me to stop answering every other question with "sheet copper." Sometimes when an idea hits or something inspires me, I pretty much am unable to sleep well until I take a moment to listen to whatever that voice is trying to tell me. Not always an easy task to pay attention when balancing a full-time job, spending 10-20 hours per week preparing for shows, and living on a starving artist budget... but I'm learning more and more these days that I must thrive on the challenge. I've been thinking a lot about this lately, and I'm not sure when I ever turned into this person!! Maybe it's in my blood- seems that art and various forms of entrepreneurialism are both strong themes that run throughout my family.

I love the new necklace Nicki. Great to see that great mind is still thinking of new things and they work..good luck in Denver this week end. Hope you don't have to haul your things a long ways although your stuff does transport well. I hope your dream(nightmare) was only that and only good things happen!!! I even wished upon the first star I saw last night so I hope that will seal the deal..!!!

oh, mom is making me tear up with her sweet, sweet words. nick, i looked at the ballpark website, and it looks like your stuff will be the most beautiful, inspiring, charming tent in the "urban flea market". seriously. i have been meditating that people going to the flea market will have a strong need for moonwater in their subconscious by tomorrow at eight o'clock. i hope you are able to relax a bit tonight, and get plenty of sleep befor tomorrow morning!

Thanks, ladies! And that is so nice of you to be wishing and meditating good thoughts my way.

I have a few things left to do this evening, and have to be up at 5 a.m. tomorrow, so I'd better get hoppin'!

I was glad to see that that wish was not ignored. Isn't it great to have had a great day and have even some great leads to some great new shops. That is how the business thing is suppose to happen. You may not be doing the Sidewalks Art fair but me thinks you are going to be busy anyhow!! THAT IS GOOD! Sleep good tonight and relax tomorrow. Make your helper take you on a bike ride or a long relaxing walk with a cup of coffee...
